Another book down and I’m happy to have made the decision to pick up and read Why Evolution Is True by Jerry A. Coyne. Jerry has taken the concept of evolution, which is so complex and so deeply contested between the religious and scientific worlds, and presented it in an easily understood and convincing manner.
I just finished an excellent book called Ecological Intelligence: How Knowing the Hidden Impacts of What We Buy Can Change Everything by Daniel Goleman. This books goes a long way to help you get a sense of how each buying decision you make affects the entire world – especially in today’s global society. The main premise of the book though is that over the coming years, we will gain more and more access to the information that traditionally has been kept hidden from us, information that could make a significant difference in the buying decisions we make.
Since I’m on the subject of Failure and Success I wanted to touch briefly on a couple of other points. Those points are 1. failure and success are not mutually exclusive and 2. focus on the success and not the failure.
